i’m jealous of jennifer booher
Ok, that’s it… the first chance I get I’m going to Bar Harbor, Maine. I will then track down American artist Jennifer Booher and beg her to take me on one of her beach walks! Glass, china fragments, and tiny bits of colorful rope… she finds the most amazing little artifacts, and if that’s not enough to make you insanely jealous, she then organizes them into perfectly composed groupings, and photographs them for your viewing pleasure. Sigh.
These are so intriguing to look at!!
Jenn’s compositions ‘n collections are exquisite! I think it’s safe to say we are all truly jealous here!!
i certainly am! i once got a 2nd degree burn on the back of my neck from wandering a beach for hours, looking down the entire time. ouch (but i found lots of good stuff!)
these are awesome. thank you for sharing.

I remember collecting all glass and porcelain bits on the beach as a kid, then I put it all in a box and hid it under a huge rock in the forest, it was my secret treasure. Maybe it’s still there.
oh! i sure hope it is!
I’m jealous, too! Like you said… not only for the end result, but for the entire process. I’d love to spend more time strolling along the beach looking for beautiful little bits.
sigh… me too.
