i’m jealous of jennifer davis’ targets

Ok, just when I thought it wasn’t possible to be jealous of Minneapolis based artist Jennifer Davis AGAIN, I am. Shooting targets. Yes. Bizarre, brightly-hued, incredibly detailed creatures living happily on old shooting targets. Hm, living happily for now that is… let’s hope no one actually uses these for target practice!

   Lovely! And so original – nothing quite like them. There is a lot of samey stuff floating around on Pinterest (and indeed the art world!) at the moment. So great to see something so poppingly (is that a word?) unique. Love the first and last ones.
