Love.
A few months ago Austin TX gallery, Sebastian Foster, asked if I’d like to work with them on a print project. They asked me to choose a piece of art, by one artist, for each month of the year. (Ok!) They would then create a limited edition, signed & numbered, print to be sold exclusively through Sebastian Foster. The only hard part about this project was choosing the twelve artists to work with… there are so many talented people out there! But I did it,and am thrilled with my selection. Some created brand new work, and some allowed me to go through their portfolios to choose a piece that had never been sold as a print before. Enter American painter Casey Roberts… he is my artist for June, and the print we’re featuring is titled, “A History of Love”. Sigh. So so so beautiful! We’ve only made 40 of these… they’re priced at $40 and are 12″x12″. If you love this piece as much as I do, pop over to the Sebastian Foster site to buy this beauty before it’s gone!
{Can’t wait to show you what I’ve got lined up for July!}
Hey Danielle,
What an awesome project! You must be psyched! This is a terrific image and I’m so looking forward to seeing everything you’re choosing with your talented eye for design and art.
Cheers,
Zandra

The print arrived today and is lovely! Can’t wait to get it framed and hang it in my “tree art” room. There’s the Forest Intaglio collage from Elise Wehle, a piece called “it is are you” from Joyce Gehl ( http://www.joycegehl.com/Joyce_Gehl/flight_of_the_caterpillar.html#10 ) and a gorgeous round piece of fiber art from textile artist Loris Bogue.
