My own gallery? YES! For years I’ve wanted my own gallery, and I guess I have always thought of this site as that… minus actual walls and the fact that I can’t sell artists’ work. Well, I had a little a-ha moment last week… remember my GREAT.LY boutique… well late last week I realized that it didn’t have to be a “boutique”, it could be an art gallery! That’s right. Just ART by amazing artists, gathered and grouped into gorgeous little themed exhibitions – YAY! Here are a few pieces that are currently showing at GALLERYONE {“GALLERYONE” because it’s my very first!}
And there’s so much more in there – abstracts, bold black & whites, ceramics! I am having a ridiculous amount of fun pretending that GALLERYONE is an actual bricks and mortar, filling it with everything that I would show in a real space. Not sure why I didn’t figure that out at some point over the past six months while being GREAT.LY’s creative director… anywho, I’ve got it now! I hope you’ll come and visit, and when I stock amazing new pieces by fabulous artists from all over the world, I’ll let you know right here {and on facebook too, of course!}.

That’s really cool! Just to give you a heads up though I submitted my art to place on Great.ly and they got in touch that it’s not what they’re looking for. It wasn’t clear whether that was a curatorial decision, or if they objectively are avoiding art and art objects but it seems like it’s not being geared towards artists. Congrats though!
