valeria nascimento

Whoa. I’m honestly not sure what else to say about these striking, organic, delicate, absolutely gorgeous ceramics by Brazilian artist Valeria Nascimento. I mean, that final charcoal black piece? Just, whoa.

ps. Happy weekend! I’m heading to Seattle for a book event at Elliott Bay Book Co. (7~9pm on Saturday) See you there?

Wow – these are amazing! At first I thought they were made of paper. So simple, yet so effective; so delicate yet powerful.
