i’m jealous of sarah boyts yoder
Ahhh, it’s finally summertime where I live {so much cold rain until last week!} so these strange/abstract-ish swimsuit paintings, by American artist Sarah Boyts Yoder, are totally speaking to me:
Yep, I want to jump into a blue pool, wearing neon red stripes! But hold on a second… there’s more. These are not swimsuit related, but I absolutely love them, so perhaps I’ll just enjoy them poolside:
Mmmm… summer hued GUM Dr p ♥ ~ and with that, I wish you a happy weekend! See ya on Monday!
Love the 4th and the 5th!
Oh and thank you, thank you thank you for saying “abstract-ish”. I get so fed up lately with people who call stuff abstract when it is merely unrealistic. #petpeeve
It has finally cooled down to about 90ish today after nearly a week of 100+. Still, hanging by a pool sounds like an awesome time!
Exactly what i needed to see today. Thank you once again. These are so lovely.
So rad. I dig the poolside abstracts, if that’s what you might call them. The Gum Drop definitely hits me in the solar plexus in a good way.
Love, love, love her paintings!!! I have one in my kitchen and it brings a smile to my face every time I look at it.
lucky!!!
I love your blog! I look at it everyday. You have impeccable taste!
My work has been published in Photo District News, Black and White Magazine, and Shots Magazine just did any article about my work. I have also won Fine Art Photograher of the Year at the Lucie Awards as well as the People Choice Award, which was such an honor that out of all the photos that were submitted mine got the votes from all over the world!
I hope you consider taking the time to view my websites and I am open to any feedback you might have.
Thank you. 🙂

I just discovered this artist through pinterest and I am obesessed with her work! The swimsuit ones are just enough reference to suits that you know what’s going on, but still totally obscured. love them!
