i’m jealous of ben hughes
Portraits by British artist Ben Hughes. I’m really not sure what to say about these fantastic, life-sized, half illustrated – half realistic, simple, yet detailed portraits… all I can seem to muster is a jaw-dropped, whoa ♥ {Oh boy… it’s that ginger-moustached man with his floppy sunflower, and piercing blue eyes… van Gogh meets Tin Tin, no?}
{Where did I find this amazing work? Well, Ben just happens to be the brother of the very talented Seattle based artist Tif Fussell – aka the crafting goddess, Dottie Angel. Seriously. The talent in this family is insane – insane I tell you! Happy weekend, see you on Monday!}
very touching, the contrast really highlights our transient nature.
These are fantastic! I am in love with the 3rd one down. He’s so Irish. I’d let him buy me a Guinness, for sure!
Wow brilliant work ! truely talented, I love Tiff’s work and blog too I guess it runs in the family!
Wow yes I love the moustached guy as well really cool. This family has huge amazing talent !
Okay, I LOVE these pieces! Uh-MAZING! And, then you tell me he’s kin to Dottie Angel? Um, not fair! Yeah… I’m jealous right along with you! Damn.
These are really cool. I love the mix of the 3 dimensional with the 2 dimensional : )
