i’m jealous of bruce munro

Oh. my. word. You can almost smell the crisp night air, can’t you?  The fireflies, however, have been replaced with this insanely magical light installation by British lighting designer/artist Bruce Munro. I can’t even imagine how amazing this must have been in person. If I wasn’t two years late writing about this, you can bet I’d be on a plane to England as we speak! Field of Light was displayed at the Eden Project in Cornwall from 1st November 2008 – 31st March 2009. Mind you, it was also exhibited at the V&A museum in London, and “under the shadow of an ancient hill” in southwest England. Hmm, maybe that means he’ll display this piece again… and hopefully this time I’ll know about it just a touch sooner!

If I wasn’t two years late writing about this installation, you can bet I’d be on a plane to England as we speak!
