i’m jealous of maurizio anzeri

Italian born, London based artist Maurizio Anzeri transforms found photographs of perfectly cute kids into spooky, tribal, baboon-ish looking creatures using only a needle and thread. I’m totally in awe… and just a little bit scared.

These are absolutly wonderful. I love the blending of the 2 mediums. As much as I love children, is this all that different from parents who outfit their children in clothing so they look like mini thems or fashion accessories?
