I’ve been a big fan of your site and recently discovered your podcast as well. I would be thrilled to be considered, your “submit your work” button was not working for me however so I am attempting this method. I have an upcoming 3 person show that has an interesting story behind it.
Essentially I contacted 2 artists who’s work I loved but didn’t really know and asked if they would want to do an artist residency with me for 4 weeks. To my delight, they said yes! We were awarded the residency but then also were inspired to do a pop-up show in the tiny little town that we were in and have now put together a show in Brooklyn, NY of the work we created while we were there. We are 3 women, not particularly close in age, nor particularly similar in style, but we discovered common threads in our work and found the experience to be invigorating. If you happen to be in NY in October, it would be fantastic if you could see the show, but I am including the show’s Facebook invite for information about it just in case.
